A rapidly expanding manufacturer of complex products to the aerospace, defence and motorsport sectors has a new vacancy for a Senior TIG Welder. Working on advanced engineered products, candidates are sought with a proven track record of performing TIG welding on aluminium parts in a highly regulated sector (aerospace, defence, motorsport, energy, etc)
The Role
Carry out TIG welding on aluminium parts.
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Work with the new product development team on NPI.
Inspect and finish welds to meet high-quality requirements.
Work both independently and as part of a small, skilled team.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
The Person
Proven experience in TIG Welding (aluminium).
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Able to prioritise workload and adapt to change in requirements.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
Previous experience working in a highly regulated industry.
